Virtual Ecology is an independent research publication focusing on the relationship between nature and memory. Currently, the project is focused on exploring how different aesthetic forms of urban nature affect the experience of time in cities, and how this relationship influences attachment to places and their histories.
Further areas of research include: temporality, chronopolitics, critical theory, urban planning and design, the aesthetics of nature, urban ecology, existential risks & eschatology, the aesthetics of cultural decay, and speculative futures & future studies.
